Dang!!! Already 11001! Anyways, the only pickoff I've seen was on the late reaction of my 1B, the ball was there even before he went back to first.Comment

Re: Pickoffs
i've had a few pickoffs, but I have had two or three pitchers throw it away too (with piazza behind the plate i have to throw over alot). Stanton threw one away that cost me the game because Juan Pierre was on first and with the large amount of foul territory at Shea and big Mo and Burnitz lumbering after the ball, Pierre easily went to third on the play. Then he scored on a sac fly an they took the lead....so much for trying to keep him out of scoring positon

Re: Pickoffs
I have picked off a few guys with left handed pitching. It is pretty cool actually, if the running is going and you time your pick right (Don't balk) you actually see the guy break for second as I throw to first. Then I have to whip it over to second real quick and gun him down.

Re: Pickoffs
I missed a pickoff in that similar situation because future throw wasn't responsive enough. I threw over to first and caught the runner leaning. But trying to get the 1b to throw to 2nd, i got caught in the slow tap the glove then throw animation and the runner beat the throw to 2nd.Comment
