I was thinking of getting a 2.99 monthly subscription but that doesn't sound like much. I'm guessing I can't look at archived games either correct?

I'm sure there's plenty of prostitutes you could pay if you really want vd.

Haven't had any issues finally on the PS3 since their latest update couple of days ago. Thank goodness.

Hopefully they update the PS4 version soon as the skipping back is annoying. It's not unbearable or unwatchable just really annoying.

They cannot blackout games if they are not available on a local cable provider.

To your point, I've lived both Billings, and Bozeman which are in central/Eastern Montana and the Mariners games were on every night.
How do you pull this off? Does it work automatically or can I call mlb.tv up? I'm a huge Astros fan, but I can't watch the Astros because of the blackout restrictions and the CSNHouston fiasco. There is not one provider in Lubbock, Texas that carries the CSNHouston network.

Fortunately, I use the IP trick to watch the Astros on my computer, but it would be nice to watch them on my tv every once in a while.

I tried to ask earlier how this is done, but can you explain it to me via PM or anything? I don't believe I got an official response the last time I asked. Thanks.

I'm not familiar with whatever the dispute is but unfortunately you are most likely out of luck.

It's listed as being available on Comcast Houston so I don't think their is a workaround for you.

The skipping is terrible tonight on the PC app. This is where having those video quality options is a lifesaver - 3 clicks on the standard quality (not Nexdef) is staying stable.

I can't understand why they would remove that from the new player.

Yeah I was having skipping problems as well. Thankfully it took away from having to watch the Mariners play.

I got an email from MLB.TV with a 50% off offer on MiLB.TV which would make it 25 dollars for the year, very tempting

How many games will they show? I'd love to watch some Isotopes games.

looks like most of the Isotopes games will be available http://www.milb.com/milb/multimedia/milbtv.jsp

and the only reason I would get this package is for Isotopes games as well

Small things on the PS3 version I don't like regarding archived games (that used to be featured in past years). Keep in mind I'm a nut regarding not being spoiled about anything:

                                - Time stamps are exactly the same amount of time as the game's length. To some, this is like a "no duh," but when I want to fast-forward and jump to a new inning, I don't want to know when I'm in the 5th whether I'm halfway through the game, or 60%, or 30%, or whatever. This is especially important when you get to the later innings and there are minutes left going into the top of the 9th or something. In past years, they would have like five hours on the archive.

                                - If you check game stats, it will show what the players did in the full game, regardless of what inning you're in. Again, in years past, it would show the stats for wherever you're at. So if it's the top of the 1st inning, a lot of players wouldn't have any stats show up. Now, it shows exactly what happened throughout the entire game.

I really wish they would address these. The rewinding and fast-forwarding works terribly now, too.
