I think I may get a Roku this year for MLB.TV. Hopefully the WWE Network will be available on it too. I'm not a fan of running my PS3 and PS4 for apps like Netflix and MLB.TV.

My brother-in-law says he hates the MLB.TV UI on Roku, and much prefers the PS3 one.

I don't like the new PS3 one. I wonder what the new PS4 one will look like though.

I'm not a fan of the PS3 interface either.

I have the Roku in our bedroom and run it wireless and the connection is terrible. Never had any issues with the PS3 which is wired.

              Hello EmpireWF,
I am very familiar with MLB.TV its a really great package and I have been buying it since about 2004 and only gets better every year. You can watch 4 games at once on your PC or if you have a PS3 or PS4 you can watch it on that, also if you have an XBOX 360, or a XBOX One, you can watch it on that along with an Apple TV, Roku, Western Digital Player, TiVo, etc. But take note that its best to have at least 6 Mbps download speed to stream the video. Also take note that Spring Training games are blackout free but when the season starts your local teams will be blacked out but you can watch them about 30 mins. or so after the completion of the games. Also there is no commercials with MLB.TV it just says commercial in progress. Also new this year Saturday's games on FOX will not be blacked out except the one that is playing on your local Fox Network. The graphics are great and its a great way to follow all the teams and to watch your local team in case you missed the game. I hope I helped you with this information.

              R.J.

Do you have a link to any information about this? A quick google search shows that there was a lawsuit involving this, but their website seems to list the same blackout policies. If this is true, I might have to get the package again this year. I'm a big Rangers fan, so it was great when I was up in New York. When I came down to Arkansas for school there are like 4 teams blacked out here (STL, Texas, KC, maybe Houston and I think possibly something else) and it wasn't worth it to me anymore. Really frustrating because I don't have cable and watched mlb.tv almost daily.

you will still be blacked out like normal .. the only change this year is the if FOX has more than 1 game, you will be able to watch the other games on MLB.tv live

this link has the new policy and you can put your zip code to see what teams are blacked out, baseball sucks because they shouldn't be teams hours away claiming that territory

Any coupons out there for this year? Not sure if there has been in the past but don't want to order without checking.

Never seen coupons before. Normally when they automatically renew me though I'd get a $5 discount. They didn't seem to do that this year.

Thanks. Thought it was a long shot but worth looking into.

Looks like they've only offered discounts half-way through the season or on Father's Day. I wouldn't want to miss out on Opening Day though.

Just wondering if anybody's PS3 MLB.TV app has updated to include the 2014 Spring Training games??

Went on to see if it had today's games listed but it is still only showing last year's games.

Getting to watch the Cubs for the first time today too!

BTW, for those unfamiliar with spring training MLB.TV, almost none of the games will be in HD. That option will be available once the season starts.
