Re: Who is your starting 9 currently in the MLB?
I'll set a condition that the position must be the primary position (so no CF's moving to LF/RF and vice versa).
C Yadier Molina
1B Paul Goldschmidt
2B Jose Altuve
SS Andrelton Simmons
3B Nolan Arenado
LF Michael Brantley
CF Andrew McCutchen
RF Jose Bautista
My proposed lineup:
2B Altuve
CF McCutchen
RF Bautista
1B Goldschmidt
LF Brantley
3B Arenado
C Molina
SS Simmons
Good mix of OBP without the K's and defense up the middle.Originally posted by Gibson88Anyone who asked for an ETA is not being Master of their Domain.
It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.Comment

Re: Who is your starting 9 currently in the MLB?
Everyone can pick the superstars at each position, but if I were to field an actual team/lineup, I'd do it like this:
1- Mike Trout (CF)
2- Jose Altuve (2B)
3- Giancarlo Stanton (RF)
4- Miguel Cabrera (1B)
5- Evan Longoria (3B)
6- Hanley Ramirez (LF)
7- Yadier Molina (C)
8- Andrelton Simmons (SS)
9- Clayton Kershaw (P)
All of my position players are right handed hitters, therefore nullifying any lefty/lefty doom matchups. While Molina and especially Simmons are both a bit of a liability on offense, they more than make up for it with their gloves. I'd send this lineup out to battle against anybody.Comment

The only comparables are Buster and Cano.Originally posted by Gibson88Anyone who asked for an ETA is not being Master of their Domain.

Why Simmons over Tulo? It's not like Tulo is a bad fielder. He's right there with Simmons as fielding goes.Comment
