The All-Star Game was at OPACY that year, and Cito Gaston couldn't even put Moose in for one inning? I see his point.

Anyway, shame to see him go. He'll always be a traitor in my eyes, but still congratulate him on a great career. I didn't get to watch him when he was in an Orioles uniform, but he nearly singlehandedly carried us to the World Series in '97 only for Armando Benitez to screw it up.

Even though he's a traitor, he's still a local guy for me, so I'm still a fan and was glad to see him finally get a 20 win season this year.

I think what he meant to say was, "he's a HoF'er for sure, he was a Yankee."

I think he'll eventually make the HOF, but he's going to have to wait a bit. He's going to end up going against Maddux, Glavine, Pedro, Smoltz, Schilling, Johnson, and Clemens. Not to mention guys like Bonds, Piazza, Kent, Griffey, and Thomas.

It'll be interesting to see if he gets inducted, which hat he'll be wearing.

With O's: 157-81, 3.53 ERA - 2,009 2/3 IP
With Yankees: 113-72, 3.88 ERA - 1,553 1/3 IP

I bet you dollars to donuts that he'd go in as a Yankee.

Re: So long, Mussina

Which isn't right, IMO. Pitched equal amount of seasons with both teams, more innings with the Orioles, performed better as an Oriole for the most part, and had playoff success with both teams.
