Re: The Hot Stove League Thread

Looks like the Pirates get A.J. Burnett from the Yankees in exchange for a couple prospects.

Good move on both sides. Playing in the NL and at PNC should help Burnett.

I do hope that the Pirates can at least get to the .500 mark this year. They seemed like shoe-ins last year but managed to blow it with their awful second half. I think that bad call from the Braves game probably led to it.

Pirates ink McCutchen to a 6 year $51.5 million deal. Well deserved.

Love this deal for the Pirates. With him and Tabata, they seem to be moving along the plan.

Good things may actually happen for Pittsburgh fans so long as they stay on the path.

Andy Pettitte is back with the Yankees. 1-year minor league deal worth $2.5 million.

Last played in what, 2010?

Crazy, that rotation is pretty filled (even before signing him). We'll see how this works out for them.

I believe it's a minor league deal that can be worth $2.5 MM if he makes the team.
