Call me crazy, guys. But, I think this stretch of games without Morrow is a great time to let Edwards audition... let’s see if the slim reaper can own the 9th over these 8 or so games

In no way am I saying he could/should win the role outright, but I’d be stunned if Morrow doesn’t find his way back on the 10 day at least once more this year.

I literally was about to type about Heyward and his lack of SB's...he was 0-1 and then he steals. Why isn't he running more!? Guy used to get 20/year...

Re: 7/19 - 7/29 Game Discussion Thread

Wow, first stolen base of the year for Heyward.

I started checking out his yearly stats, and how quickly I forgot the good year he had with the Caridinals. He batted .293 and still swiped over 20 bags.

EDIT: Beat me to the punch there. Yeah I noted that a couple of weeks ago. Props for coming around when it comes to hitting (and not striking out really), but I miss his steals. Maybe that's more of a Maddon thing though, because that has really fallen off since signing with them.

Even though he’s no longer a Brave, I’m pretty happy to see Heyward being a productive hitter again.
