Wow...the Mets make the Knicks look like a well-run organization, lol.

Wow, owner wants one thing, COO wants the opposite. They've had since June to figure out what they wanted and came up with nothing. Incredible.

Sheesh, thank goodness Ben Cherington said "thanks but no thanks". The Wilpons have to be the most dysfunctional owners in baseball right now. This is just a disgrace.

It's pathetic and a slap in the face to the Met fans, who watch their team being run like a Mickey Mouse organization. And these young Yankee fans who call in to WFAN complaining about Cashman don't realize how good they've got it.

Re: Postseason transactions/plans discussion thread

Mets will probably still get Stearns I bet. Cant expect to win anything when 1) two contracts north of $10M puts you at the brink of financial flexibility, and 2) one of those is a liability for the last 3+ seasons that cannot be moved whatsoever.

At first it looks like the Brewers' future is bright, but nothing is certain with all those prospects and history shows it will fail once again.

Looks like Miami landed Victor Victor Mesa and Victor Mesa Jr. Sandy Gaston is still available though.
