Some quality TV right here. A battery of Taylor Davis pitching and Kyle Schwarber catching. Getting out of a bases loaded no-out jam in the 9th to a raucous standing ovation at Wrigley Field.

I haven't seen such wide ****-eating grins on baseball players in quite some time.

I don't understand why he's not gotten a shot since his start in LA last year. Yeah he was erratic, but he was effective. I've been wanting him to get another chance, so hopefully they'll use him a bit more and see what he's got.

On the Cubs broadcast they said that Acuna has 14 leadoff homers in 144 (?) career games as a leadoff hitter. Pretty badass.

But, on every Braves fan's mind right now: can the bullpen hold this lead?

I did realize after I typed that post that I didn't see the A's score any of their runs......so of course I thought it was entertaining, I hadn't sat through any of the bad stuff
