Re: MLB Season/Coronavirus

stick a folk in the season, it is done!! just cancel it now baseball isn't happening

the question is what happens with contracts?? does 2020 just not exist? all those teams that had 1 year contracts for players going out will suffer the most. the Braves come to mind here.

they should just skip the year and 2021 starts as though it's 2020

Re: MLB Season/Coronavirus

I want to know what happens to the suspensions of Hinch and Luhnow. They may essentially be given a freebie here.

I never thought this would be the case, but I am now coming to terms with the fact there WILL NOT be a baseball season this year. Just...wow.

I think we'll still have a season eventually. But it's going to be more of a sprint than a marathon this time.

Luhnow ain't never working in baseball again, unless it's in the ticket booth or sweeping the parking lot. I expect Hinch will at least be coaching if not managing somewhere in 2021. I'm really jonesing for some baseball, basketball, any type sport that doesn't have a goalkeeper lol, but I really do watch too much sports, the last few days might have actually been good for my soul. if MLB finds out I've been watching ballet, or Broadway type musically's, can I tell it ‘‘we were on a break!’’?

Same with German for Yankees

if we have a season though the world series winners will have a astricks as they would have only won it in half a season.

so I am not sure I would want my team to win it all this year (my team is 0% chance anyway lol)

but those teams who have signed players for 1 year contracts will be interesting do they still get paid?? because they were signed for 162 games. then we have the trade deadline mess.

Yeah I don't believe that we will lose the season, but we are going to lose a significant portion of it.
