They might actually be forced to care about NHL soon if the rumors are true about a new TV deal (NBC gets main coverage, but ESPN could be a secondary deal).

I'm glad we dont get ESPN here, although they do own TSN, and some ESPN programming ends up on the network (unfortunately the bad parts of it, like all those "talking head" shows)

I enjoy some of those talking heads shows. Around the Horn and Pardon the Interruption, but I hate that baseball and hockey are less than an afterthought.

I dont watch them, but I know PTI is often good.

I meant ones like SAS and those kinds of shows.

Re: 2021 Spring Training Thread

ESPN don't care much about the NFL either. it's only about Tom Brady. wasn't about how the team Tampa Bay won a super bowl it was how 'Brady won a 7th ring' least it's been that way for the past 20 years I used to love PTI and around the horn. but anyway yes no baseball coverage I have to listen to Buster podcasts online to get anything baseball

NBC Sports is moving their Sports channels around. USA network here is getting a bulk of it, which includes the NHL deal. And their dropping the NBCS channel (from my understanding). According to stories I've read, but for some reason can't link..

Re: 2021 Spring Training Thread

It's so peaceful watching spring training baseball. Until ESPN announcers start talking.
