Re: 8/16 - 8/29 Game Discussion Thread

Freddie Freeman, despite winning the NL MVP last year, might be the most underrated player in baseball. Guy is a legit superstar, but he never gets talked about with the other guys. Hitting nearly .400 in the last two months…

I called it when the rays swept them 2 weeks . the Boston Collapse has happened blown a 10-5 lead on the yankees and now out of the wild card spot they should have gone for pitching at the trade deadline

It's really weird too. He should be as popular/known as Chipper was. I guess the Braves aren't as big of a brand as they were when they were on TBS all the time

Re: 8/16 - 8/29 Game Discussion Thread

Seeing Freeman hit for the cycle in person was cool. That's the first time I've ever seen a cycle in person.

Also got to see the pen nearly blow an 11-3 lead in the 9th. Still got the sweep. I only went to games 1 and 3. This was my first time being in Marlins Park... err LoanDepot Stadium. It's an interesting park. I never got used to being inside a closed roof watching a game. It didn't feel normal.

Shohei Ohtani has 40 home runs as a hitter.

Shohei Ohtani has only given up 33 home runs as a pitcher.

I believe you mean he’s only given up 33 runs as a pitcher…33 home runs would be terrible!

You better believe that's what I meant. I thought home runs sounded bad, but it was late and I didn't recheck the tweet.

However, he's the fastest Angel ever to 40 home runs.
