Man what has happened to Cody Bellinger? I never thought I’d see the day he’s hitting.175 and batting 8th

Congratulations Miggy. Part of me hates seeing these guys who were once amazing in their prime putting up weak numbers and just sticking around and watching their career statistics plummet.

But I get it too. They still love the game and they have a chance at achieving milestones. So it's great to see Miguel Cabrera get in the 500 HR club.

And today is yet another game they should've won.

You're up 2-1, top of the 9th, 2 outs, 2 strikes on the batter, he hits a routine groundball to the 2B, and an error happens and the run scores. Then they blow it in extras with their horrible pitching.

I fully expect he and Yadi will sign one year deals this offseason, or before, in hopes of making a run at the postseason in 2022. Hopefully we can stay healthy next year, especially the pitching staff.

Gut wrenching loss. Can't lose series to the Tigers and expect to make the playoffs. Bullpen will get the blame in extra innings but the offense has to be better than this past weekend.
