Vladdy passed his dad's single season HR mark last night.

Ryan Braun announced his retirement today.

Jays offense looks like it might finally have dried up. Unless...they're holding out until the last inning again.

Too bad they wasted a great outing from Berrios. One of his best games since joining the Jays will either be a 1ER loss, or a no decision.

And just like that, bullpen already trying to make this game out of reach. A few pitches into the game and the bullpen already allows a home run. For the final week or so of the season, just make starters go 8 innings. Don't trust the bullpen one bit.

Crushing defeat last night. Less than three weeks to go and the Mets #1 priority seems to be conserving their pitchers arms. Stroman pulled after 89 pitches, Loup throws seven pitches and they don’t give him a second inning, Lugo gets a second consecutive day off after 19 pitches on Sunday, and the go with Jake Reed in the 11th with his 9.1 innings of MLB experience. Pretty impressive double play turned by the Cardinals in the bot of the 10th to save the game. At least Baez has been fun to watch, hopefully they bring him back
