Brewers have probably the easiest path to the LCS of all teams in baseball.

Giants and Dodgers will be going to war.

Rays and ALE wild card winner will have a huge series.

White Sox and Astros have similar records.

And then there's the Brewers going up against whoever can win the NL east, maybe not even with over 85 wins.

I'll say its probably going to be the Braves, who are no slouches, plus the fact playoff baseball is always tough.. But agreed. Very thankful we dont have to play the Dodgers, Giants, or Padres right away. Im hoping this road is what gets us to a World Series, but we'll see.

Sunday doesn't seem like it'll be a standing changing day for the ALE Wildcard, but we'll see.

Jays sending Berrios out against a guy who has barely started in his career, not doing do since 2019.

Yankees with Cole going up against a guy with an ERA over 6.

Red Sox with Eovaldi going up against a guy with an ERA close to 8.

So if either of those teams lose on Sunday, talk about major disappointment. This is as winnable a game as any of those teams has had all weekend.

Jays place Ryu on the IL.

Hopefully whatever has been going on can improve, because the way the season is going, they can't afford to lose winnable games at this point. They have 3 great starters ahead of him, and need him to be at worst average.

As for the matchup today, Berrios plays his first ever game vs his old team.

Surprised the Yankees left Cole out there into the 6th, with over 100 pitches. Figured they would've called it a day and save him for his final 2 starts, their 9 game series vs the ALE to end the season.
