Atlanta's boom or bust offense concerns me, even if it is better than Milwaukee's overall.

Even with the dumb injury, Milwaukee has the better bullpen, and the better pitching staff in total.

If this were a 7 game series then I'd take the Brewers without concern. Anything can happen in a short series though, and the shorter series somewhat mitigates Milwaukee's deeper rotation.

Atlanta splits the first 2 with Morton and Fried going (with a possible Will Smith blown save in the loss). Game 3 goes to the Brewers with the pitching advantage. Game 4 is close, but Will Smith gets a chance to redeem himself from his game 1/2 debacle, but he blows it to end the season.

Brewers in 4.

Braves in 5. They definitely underachieved some in the regular season, but their hitting lineup is much easier to trust and much less dependent on contact hitters to consistently wield some sort of gap power. Milwaukee had a great season, but unless they can get Woodruff to pitch all their games they’re in some trouble with this matchup….

Huge missed opportunity there. The only good thing you can say about that inning is that Burne's really had to work hard in the first.

I had more issue with Ozzie swinging at a garbage pitch after Burnes was struggling…terrible.
