Also, Exhibit A of why I HATE fan voting across the board. Look at the fan voting for 2nd basemen (reference: https://www.mlb.com/news/all-star-ba...e-june-27-2022)

Im sorry, but how the hell are Frazier, Merrifield, and Semien even remotely close to the top 10 with .600 OPS? Fernando Tatis is literally top 5 in votes despite NOT PLAYING A GAME. Espinal is 2 despite not having a real reason to be. I'm so disgusted

The NBA ASG voting at least has become more decent.

Fans count for a percentage, but others also count in the weighted system.

In the end though, the ASG is for fans, so the leagues dont really care who makes it as long as the fans who voted for those guys end up watching.
