To me a pure scorer is a guy who scores at will. And makes it look easy.
Honestly, i dont think guys like Kevin Durant, Derrick Rose, Kobe Bryant (in his mid 30s) or even LeBron James make scoring look as easy as a guy like Melo. Thats just my opinion

Really, Melo is on the list? The guy that shot like 38% in the playoffs and didn't look like he cared that his team was getting its brains beaten in? Volume scorers like him are a dime a dozen.

ok, first off, Carmelo is not a volume scorer. Monta Ellis, Gilbert Arenas, Allen Iverson. These are volume scorers.


Carmelo, to me, is the top pure scorer in the league to me. He can score in more ways than any player in the league.
Durant would be my 2nd best pure scorer, and Wade is 3rd.

Until I can understand the question better, I will hope the lockout ends soon. I don't want to think about how many "Top __" Lists will be made until the season starts.
