Celtics Great Jo Jo White says LeBron isn't an all time great

“Right now [LeBron] doesn’t [rank all-time] ... You’ve got a chance to go that way, now what you do with it we’ll see. Those that look at ball, everyone can have a great game. What makes them hungry? What makes them continue to put out good games,” White said “I don’t give a damn how good one or two players is. Without the other players who make things roll for a whole team then we’ll find out all that.”

Jo Jo really feels like he's someone to talk? What did he do LeBron hasn't.. "Continue to put out good games" even if LeBron isn't an all time great he is definitely one of the most consistent guys in the league.. Wtf is this guy thinking.

What is he even talking about? I don't understand that statement.

Who cares what this irrelevant **** has to say? It took him almost 35 years to get into the Hall of Fame. LeBron will be in after 5 years, 1st ballot, guaranteed. Just an old-timer trying to draw attention to himself.

Yes, a 2x NBA Champion, 2x NBA Finals MVP, 4x MVP, etc. isn't one of the greatest to play the game.

I thought the beef with LeBron not being one of the greatest stopped when he won his first title, let alone his second. I just don't get how nostalgic some people are, man.

Point is, LeBron could never play another game in his career and would still be one of the greatest to ever play NBA basketball.

Almost sounds like something White wanted to say 10 years ago.
"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

"You'll not find more penny-wise/pound-foolish behavior than in Major League Baseball." - Rob Neyer

I have respect for JoJo White and what he brought to the game of basketball, and if I cared enough, I'd probably listen to the podcast to get a better understanding, but upon first glance, that statement sounds like literal nonsense.

                        Wait, what?

Reminded me of that ol' Lewis Black situation:

I'm sure there are still plenty of people out there who haven't forgotten about the "he had to run off and team up with two other stars to win a title" angle.

I imagine he'll win at least one title back with the Cavs so it'll all be moot by the time he calls it a career.

I wish i could be like Shard Lewis right now.

I'm sure he read this and laughed while counting his money.

To be rich and neutral...like dont have to care and still be rich.

Yes i know it doesnt seem to fit the story but it does. I just saw his face as this story came out as an ex teammate of Bron...he's sitting easy and not giving a care about the nba drama
