Could Westbrook be a Franchise Centerpiece?

Would you confidently build around him?

I don't think I should build around an undersized SG.

I all depends who he would have around him, the same goes for anybody you build a team around.

If you could throw him on a team with talent everywhere but missing a superstar, maybe like Chicago without Rose then yeah I think he would be fine..

If I were a struggling team in the league like the Bobcats or Wizards then I would take him in a heartbeat.. Much better than building around Kemba or Wall

Building around a scoring PG rarely works, so no.

Building around a scoring guard works more often than people want to give credit to.. The other players just have to be a perfect fit.. I see no reason to believe he couldn't do what Rose does in Chicago.

I know most people here love Durant and Rose and will completely disagree with that, but that's just how I see it.

I personally don't care for either really, I like Rose, I'd like him more if he could shoot better.

Building around scoring PG's rarely work though. If we're talking titles. If you want a top 5 team sure you can build around him, but to win multiple titles, a scoring PG just won't cut it.
