    nba live 2001 or 2002?

I'm debating on nba live 2001 or 2002 for ps2. is there much of a difference between the 2? i am also maybe thinking of getting march madness 2003. I presently own nba live 2000 for PS1. should i just stick with that?

Whichever one has Garnett on the cover is crap. I'd pay the extra to get this years (EA or SEGA), before spending less on a piss poor game.
Fun Fact: Every Tom Izzo recruiting class has played in a Final Four.

Both 2001 and 2002 were crap.....2001 was a little less crappy (Garnett on the cover) as far as gameplay went. I too would just ante up for 2003.

Gameplay wise (ONLY), Nba live 2001 on PSX is the best out of live 01' and 02' on ps2.

Spend 10 bucks on live 01' if anything.

That game is still fun to this day GAMEPLAY wise. The graphics suck though. And the challenges are fun.

Nba live 2001 on ps2 WOULD have been good if the frame rate was smooth and the button response was more accurate. They fixed both these problems for Nba live 2002 except they decided to totally stuff up the offensive rebounding (more than 1/2 your total rebounds would be offensive!!!) and add a cheap hook move in the paint. It was also way too easy to drive in and dunk. The graphics were pretty good in Nba live 2002 though. I would have to agree with people here that as far as gameplay goes, Nba live 2001 on the psx is the best.
