Kenny Smith

Anyone else sick of Kenny Smith? He was cool at first, but now he's starting to annoy me. He thinks he's an expert on winning just because Hakeem got him a couple of rings.

A couple of weeks ago, my Bulls and Detroit were both below .500, and he didn't do the Kenny's pictures at halftime because "both of those teams sucked."

When the Bulls played Philly last week, him and Charles talked about random stuff while they were showing highlights of the game.

About a month ago, on Yahoo, they asked who would be his Rookie of the Year, and he said its a virtual tie between Rose and Mayo, but if he had to choose, he would pick Mayo.

And during tonights Utah vs LA game, Charles made the point that Utah could present problems to LA, and Kenny completely disregards him by saying "LA is the best team in the LEAGUE...NO ONE is seeing them." True enough LA pulled away in the 4th, but they had NO answer for D-Will. Every decent point guard has had great games against LA this year, and I for one don't think LA is unbeatable.

Thus concludes my rant...

Just change the title to TNT crew is gettin stale

Chuck is sayin if L.A. doesn't win now they'll never win with Kobe. OK.

Then Kenny was saying pencil them into the WCF's. OK

Sad that TNT has turned into this.

Webber called Chuck out on that because last year Chuck said the Lakers would win 5 in a row if they won it all last year.

But yea, ever since All Star Weekend, Kenny has been getting on my nerves along with JVG as well. Just keep both of them in the booth, imo.

I agree with Chuck on this one. Kobe is 30 now, but has 13 seasons under his belt. He's not getting any better than he is now. I still don't trust the Lakers bench aside from Odom. Those guys are so hit and miss it's ridiculous.

I disagree with Kenny. Hornets, Jazz (if they get a decent big man), PORTLAND and LA will battle it out for WC supremacy.

It's pretty silly to make such a statement [what Chuck said] but hey I won't hate.

I agree with Pack, since All-Star break they all left a sour taste in my mouth.

They all try way too hard now.

So far, I saw them give their:

6th Man
Coach of the Year
Most Improved Player
Defensive Player of the Year

Did I miss their Rookie of the Year and MVP choices?

This was the best part about your post.

Your first 3 points all are Chicago biased. I understand you're a fan but don't get mad because they don't get the same treatment as Bos, LA, Clev, SA. They don't deserve it. With the way Rose has been playing lately he all but has the ROY on lock. Again, no need to get salty.

I never really liked the dude period. He has his moments here and there but other than that, dude's a gump and that ain't got nothing to do with them not talking about my team or whatever.

Inside the NBA is still awesome and now it rackets up 100% when the playoffs start. The Warriors/Mavs series of a couple years ago was probably some of the must watch sports TV of the decade when it came time to hear Chuck Kenny and Ernie's opinions on things
