All right, finally I'm ready to share my sliders with the world! First off I want to thank everyone who has contributed to these sliders; ninjak2, ninjamonkey, adam31, dave3408, arenas, bizcanos orlics101, monkey, kruza, fatballz, antigravity, WallyHopp, NCoffey, Padgoi, and anyone else who ever made a post on any kind of slider thread. Before I start I want to tell everyone that I truly believe that once you use my sliders that you will use them for the rest of you 2k3 days. (Maybe with a couple personal preference changes) Also just because I think mine are the best I want everyone's opinions and feedback because even the best can always get better!

The reason I have the computer's shooting percentages higher is that the computer often takes more difficult shots than necessary and there is no slider or rating that can change the quality of shot selection so this evens out the shot percentage for both teams. If your having way too difficult time beating the computer or if your buddies are coming over to play, then you can set them the same (I would use the computers)
My Shooting tendencies are based on shot charts of simulated, user on computer, and user on user. These give you accurate shot placement for most all of the teams. So if you're the Wizards and your playing Mavericks, the Mavs are going to shoot a lot more threes than if you play realistically (and shoot a much better percentage than you as well)
The foul settings are all max, except Charge/Block foul, so that they are called as much as possible. The reason I have the Charge/Block foul at 25 is because I believe this slider is Charge vs. Block. So having it more towards the Charge side than most sliders you have seen makes it much more difficult to run pick n rolls because players will run over and set up outside the circle as you go for your layup or dunk.
Steals are set to 0 because steals are way too easy so I took it down all the way, but steals are achievable you just have to work for them. Also with reaching fouls all the way up and DA much lower than OA, there will be many more reach-in fouls called. Blocks are on 15 because when you drive on a pick n roll or a pivot move defenders with go for a block, this does not mean that they will always block it, it just means they will go for it. This also creates a lot more fouls throughout the course of the game, which also adds to the realism. Speed is on 16 because the pace of the game is too slow at default. This setting is a personal preference, but I would not go much lower than 13 or 14 because these sliders are most effective at the higher range of speed. Dunk I have at nine so that players like Anthony Peeler aren't dunking the ball in the lane and it also cuts down on 360 windmill dunks.
OA (offensive Awareness) is set to 14 because this creates more ball movement and the stars will take the difficult and big shots for their teams. If this is too high Only the stars will shoot and they will shoot it as soon as they get the ball, if it is too low roll players will jack up shots from all over the court while the shot clock is running down.
DA (defensive Awareness) is set to 6 so players won't bite on every pump fake or jam step. Also with DA at this rating, players will switch on pick n rolls, making it difficult to just run the same play over and over.
Injury Frequency is just personal preference. If you want a ton of bruised hips and sprained ankles that turn it up higher, if your not into injuries just take it down.
Defensive Stop Power is set to 10 because at this rating it eliminates the Force Field effect and the defensive players flow better when getting to help and threw screens.
If you use my sliders I am sure that you can achieve success when looking for a challenging and realistic NBA 2k3 experience. When considering tweaking your own version of these sliders just try them the way they are first, because many of the sliders are directly connected with others making all aspects of the game just right.
One more thing that adds to the realism of the game is Presentation, I know probably many people are thinking, "who cares." Well, you'll be amazed at the difference it makes in how the game is played and how you perceive it. I use these sliders for the volume of the game. I tried to flip back and forth between NBA games and my games trying to get the sound just right.
