LOL @ letting Westbrook just walk away. Come on now be real ya'll...think about that for a second.

I still think he's gotten hit too hard in terms of criticism ever since the playoffs but whatever.

Trade Deron for Westbrook? Feel like I'm on NetsDaily reading that on here ughhhhhh

Who said let WB walk away... thats crazy

In terms of value though, WB could possibly net you a Deron, but at the same time... there is no guarantee Deron is staying in NJ right now

It was a thought not an actual trade proposal

If you think about it if your the Nets this makes sense if you fail to net(no pun intended) Dwight.

D-Will clearly is ready to win now and I'm sure he'd gladly sign long term with the Thunder. D-Will is a much better fit moving forward for Durant and Harden than Russ.

If your the Nets you swap a guy who will most likely leave at the end of the year for a guy who is way more physically gifted, will most likely loved being on a team that he can show off said talents, love the huge market, and whom you can match any offer for. It gives the franchise it's marquee player going into the new arena and 4 to 5 more years to try and pair WB with another star. Since in this scenario they won't be able to do so with Williams. I think WB is better suited on a team that relys on him to be the main scorer much like Rose in Chi.

Russ will be a RFA which mean the Nets could match any offer sheet. If they trade D-Will for Russ it's to make WB the franchise guy.

I think Russ is getting a bad rep because the type of point guard he is is more Rose and less Rondo. In an environment where he is expected to drive the team scoring wise. He excels IMO. I think we see Derrick Rose type production. If I'm either team I jump all over this.

You let Westbrook walk because you can't afford all those contracts and clearly he wants to be the man in OKC.

He will not be able to co-exist with KD come playoff time. We had a glimpse of it last year.

Harden is a better "piece" for OKC.

Maynor can man the point and I'm sure there are serviceable PGs out there who want to play with KD.

Y'all will see once Westbrook costs them games trying to be the man.

Deron isn't getting traded for anybody, even if he is frustrated right now(for which he has no reason to be since he's a part of the problem).

At the end of the day, I think they'll find a way to keep him and either Harden or Ibaka.
