Honestly - I think Kobe's pissed because he knows the Lakers FO let Lamar decide where he wanted to go - and he said Mavs (Kobe stunned they would trade him to Mavs of all teams).

LO was a great pickup for Dal, living out here I'm actually pretty excited to see him @ Home games this year.

Re: NBA Off Topic

After looking through these 4 pages, I am getting excited for the season this year. A few weeks ago I didn't think I would care.

Re: NBA Off Topic

If I see one more pro sports athlete busting out the Golden Lords Look...

Anyway:
Quote:
I’ve always felt that leadership by words is overrated – leadership by example, approach and attitude is what people follow. And passion and enthusiasm is contagious. There’s an energy that comes with that. He’s a guy who believes in himself, has a spiritual belief.”
Asked what NBA players remind him of Tebow, Karl took a moment and then said: “With the will to win, Manu Ginobili is the type of guy, he has this exuberance of – we’re going to win the (darn) game with effort, passion and commitment. He’s the first guy that came to mind.
“A guy who wins it on his heart more than his skills – Ben Wallace. He was an undersized, defensive player who can’t score, but won a championship.”

Yeah, same with me, espicially with the active off-season that the Pacers have had. This is the most I've been looking forward to the Pacers season since I've been a fan, which leads me to my next (off) topic.

OT- I feel kind of ashamed that the only reason I became a Pacers fan was because of the Malice in the Palace. At the time (I was 11), I didn't have a favorite NBA team. After that took place, I became a Pacers fan for some reason. So thanks Ben Wallace. Thanks cup slingin' fan. And thanks the player previously known as Ron Artest. Just wanted to share.
