Serge Ibaka is a better power forward than Dirk now?

Re: Most complete PF today

Is Ibaka even really a PF?

I see his game more as a C than anything.

Steel, I thought you would have been more outraged about him putting Gasol ahead of Dirk lol

At least Gasol is a complete power forward, he can do it all, score, rebound, play defense and Paul Millsap is young but I can see a lot of positives in that, I was upset about those too but SERGE IBAKA? All the dude knows how to do is dunk and block shots and he comes in here trying to say he's better than the reigning NBA Finals MVP.

lol and I just realized he has Bismack Biyombo and Javale McGee on his list. Must be trolling.

Always have to take comments with a grain of salt when you see this on the side of their profile

Re: Most complete PF today

Remember guys this is about the 'most complete' PF not the 'best PF'.

I would say Aldridge and Gasol have the most complete games. Good post moves, mid-range jumpers, passing, solid defense and rebounding. Griffin, Love, and Nowitzki are better than them in some aspects (Griffin-athleticism, Love-rebounding, Nowitzki-shooting, etc.) but Aldridge and Gasol can do all of those things rather well.

Also, I would put Garnett and Duncan in the discussion as 'most complete' but they're to old to do it at an all-star level. With that said here is my short list:

1. Aldridge
2. Pau Gasol
3. Millsap
4. Love
5. Griffin/Nowitzki

If we are talking about the best PF in the game than it's a different story.

Since you seem to be such an expert on complete power forwards, I would love an explanation on how Paul Millsap has a more "complete" game than Dirk and how Blake Griffin has an equally "complete" game.

Well let's grade it by category

Major Categories for PF (Weight of 2.0)

Post Defense:
Gasol A
Garnett A
Duncan A-
Griffin B+
Aldridge B+
Nowitzki B+
Love B
Millsap B

Post Offense:
Gasol A
Aldridge A
Nowitzki A
Garnett A-
Griffin B+
Love B+
Millsap B+
Duncan B-

Rebounding:
Love A
Griffin A-
Duncan A-
Millsap A-
Gasol B
Garnett B,
Aldridge C+
Nowitzki C+

Minor Categories for PF (Weight of 1.0)

Passing:
Duncan A
Garnett A-
Aldridge A-
Griffin B+
Gasol B+
Nowitzki B
Millsap B
Love C+

Spot Up Shooting
Garnett A
Gasol A
Love A-
Aldridge A-
Nowitzki B+
Millsap B
Duncan B-
Griffin C

Pick & Roll Defense
Garnett A
Griffin A-
Aldridge A-
Love B
Gasol B
Millsap B-
Duncan B-
Nowitzki C

Add it all up and you get the following GPA:

Garnett 3.67
Gasol 3.60
Aldridge 3.37
Griffin/Love 3.30
Duncan 3.26
Millsap 3.18
Nowitzki 3.14

I know you guys will dispute some of these grades and try to validate this, but I think it's safe to say Garnett ain't thrown in the towel just yet.
