Re: NBA Off Topic Part 2

The NBA does a terrible job of scheduling games, period and me and Ex have been beating that drum for a while.

I admit I don't exactly know the minute process of it, but there should be no reason why the season series between those two is done before the end of January or no reason why they play each other 3 times in the first month alone.

I do wish there was a way where division games actually meant something though.

Yeah, the Mavs are gonna play their last game against OKC here pretty soon before the All-Star break even happens.

Not true. I have plans to watch them play OKC in March.

Yeah I remember Mike Breen telling SVG the scheduling is actually pretty difficult. Idk how much of that I believe, but seriously... I rarely throw out the term rivalry, but if those 3 games had taken place in say March and late April, the games would've actually meant something, and truly starting this "rivalry" off right. Both teams fighting for playoff positioning, whereas the games I saw, both teams were out of whack as far as chemistry and the sizzle to me already died. Now what are Brooklyners and New Yorkers gonna do?? Wait for baseball?

Oh you're right, my bad.

Its still weird how closely they grouped together their first three games though.

Re: NBA Off Topic Part 2

I wish the Mavs would just get rid of Chris Kaman. Elton Brand has been playing great basketball on both ends of the court lately and if we want a guy who isn't going to do much but score we have Brandan Wright who is a much more electric player than Kaman. KAman was talking after last night's big win after how much less fun it was playing 10 to 15 minutes, well Chris that what happens when you go out and settle for mid range jumpshots and don't play defense.

Anyways, to relate this back to something everyone can talk about, its really unfortunate that there are guys in the league that can't seem to put the team before their individual performance. Especially when they're getting to the end of the careers and don't seem to realize they aren't the player they were in their prime.

While JaVale McGee is well, JaVale McGee...I can't help but think its another case of Karl being stuck in his ways again as well...

Every NBA coach McGee has had has felt this way so I doubt Karl is the problem here. There's a reason most of the And 1 tour couldn't cut it in the NBA.
