Re: 2017-2018 Off-Season Thread

Well, since Raptors fans don't want him, let Budenholzer to Milwaukee become a reality. I want to see what he can do with Giannis, and what Giannis can do under his coaching.

The Bucks are working to re-engage Budenholzer in talks that will include an ownership stake, per Woj.

Raptors can't even go get the right coach? Might as well follow Meta World Peace's advice and let Drake coach the team.

I saw Bud and ownership rights and immediately my Pat the Rat alarms went insane...

But I think they're saying he's coming in for another meeting that will include the owners, not that he will get an ownership stake.

Yeah, Woj recanted that part.

You would be correct. Woj clarified shortly after my post.

I mean it's not like he got fired in Atlanta, he left because he didn't want to experience that rebuild. But sure I guess, he can be boring and go elsewhere. Because being boring has ever been this bad thing (see: Greg Popovich). But no, one of the most sought after coaches this off season because of his ability would be a bad fit.

Y'all are funny.
Bud is the best candidate by far but people are really shook over the fact that he's 0-8 vs the Cavs. The teams he was working with were a fair bit worse though but no one seems to be taking that into account. Any team would be grateful to have him
