They won't strike out on LeBron and PG until after the draft

Any trade involving dumping of salaries and taking on Draft Picks will always involve the Nets somehow.

All this “The Bulls need to get in on this” nonsense is just that. Nonsense.

We talking about these other teams cause don’t nobody give a damn about that fake *** New York team you’re talking about. It’s only one dumpster fire in New York anybody care about and even that level of care fluctuates from day to day.

The only problem with these is that the draft is next Thursday long before any free agency decisions are made. If you’re deciding to take on Parsons’ bad contract for the number 4 pick, you’re doing it wanting to make that pick.

This is why I think the NBA should go the NFL route and do their free agency before the draft. It makes no sense to draft players and then literally days later have free agency open and a top talent leaves your team in free agency and rather than focus on that position in the draft, you have to hope there’s a player worth a **** at that position on the free agent market, you’re not too cash strapped to sign him and he actually wants to sign with you.

Re: 2017-2018 Off-Season Thread

I wasn't even thinking clearly, but yeah that kind of does put teams in a bit of a bind, but on the other hand knowing what move your team made on draft could also be a big role in keeping potential free agents.

Re: 2017-2018 Off-Season Thread

Bill Simmons fake trade on twitter which doesn't make sense for the kings to me

Kings Get
Beverly
4th pick

Clippers Get
Parsons
Mclemore
2nd pick

Grizzles Get
Harris
12th pick
13th pick
Temple
Dekker

Boston gets: Anthony Davis, Boogie Cousins and next year's NO first

NO gets: Terry Rozier, a protected 2nd rounder from 2021, and a lifetime supply of clam chowder (but no delivery, have to collect in Boston)

WHO SAYS NO?
