I think the league will be fine without a washed old dude on defense standing there watching Kevin Durant rip his team apart as he stands there doing nothing.

Bet the league and networks can’t be happy about missing out on a potential Lakers/Warriors first round matchup. Probably would have drawn larger ratings than any other playoff series, maybe even the Conference and NBA Finals.
