I wonder if the Blazers ever got any offers for that pick they used to take Bowie?

If they didnt want MJ, why not trade down?

They needed a big men. I don't get why people beat them up. Michael Jordan might have not worked out. The draft is luck. Anything can happen.

I didn't know about Pippens contract. I understand his logic, but damn man. 7 years for 18 million.

This would also be why he held that sense of discontent toward Toni Kukoc on account of Krause handing Toni more money than Scottie right out the gate.

I never knew about this! But I totally understand his thinking though. Especially with all his responsibility.

Re: ESPN Presents: The Last Dance, a 10-part documentary on 97-98 Chicago Bulls

As someone who grew up in Chicagoland while the MJ Bulls were taking form and then winning, this is a must watch for me. Bittersweet with how far this franchise has let itself go.

If you weren't there in the 1980s/1990s, suffice it to say that these Bulls were just an incredible common ground that everyone in the region shared. I remember thinking they had no chance against Magic and the Lakers, and then they went out and squashed 'em. I remember watching that switching-hands layup over and over and over. I remember the t-shirts, hats, honking of horns, fireworks etc etc.

It was an amazing time/chapter in the history of Chicago.
