Definitely hope so. It's one thing to make a smart "basketball play" or take advantage of an over aggressive defender. But, I don't like the beyond Foul-hunting approach you see a lot of high usage players take. If it something that analysts and the common fan can spot, than it needs to change.

Even the rip through move you see Embiid or KD use, can be debated if it needs to change.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

I want all that stuff out I just worry it’s going to be easier said than done

That would change how a lot of players play. It is frustrating as a fan seeing offensive players lounging into defenders initiating contact and drawing fouls. Even as a Sixer fans, I know it has to be frustrating when Joel does that Rip Through move.

It is a easier said than done. Same thing was said about Flopping. How many times have we seen players fined for flopping. Maybe if they make it an offensive foul, that'll discourage them from trying to draw fouls all game. I want to see "good basketball' not grown men whining at Refs all games

It really should be easy. These plays are obvious to viewers, coaches, and commentators. It must be obvious to officials too. As long as it's a reviewable play too then it should be removed pretty quickly.

Remember how bad this nonsense was a decade ago? lol

The league finally did something about it and we don't see stuff that egregious anymore. The same thing should happen to foul-hunting, and it should be easier to kick to the curb because those movements are even more unnatural than flops.

Re: 2021 Offseason Thread

Van Gundy out as coach of New Orleans.

This is the craziest day during the playoffs I can remember

Surprised they only gave him one season though.
