How well Memphis has played without Ja probably dooms the even small chance that he has of winning MVP.

As much as I would love to see Ja or anybody from Memphis take home the MVP I feel like they get too much nightly out of everyone else for him to get the type of consideration those top 3 do. Regardless of the record without him. Not a knock against how good he’s been, but in overall impact on their success just doesn’t seem to be on that level IMO. Best player and leading scorer on a really good team but there are so many factors that have them where they are.
