IMO he is a 3 on a championship squad, which is his role on this team obviously when Middleton is there.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

One of my favorite Twitter follows during the playoffs is @Shot_Quality; an account that basically looks at the quality of the shots, who the shots are coming from, etc. to try to put a number on how much shooting variance there was in a game. One example of this was the DeRozan Game 2 last round where the Bulls won pretty convincingly; they determined that based on the shot quality for both teams, they would have expected the Bucks to win that game like 80% of the time.

Anyways, all that to say I figured their analysis would suggest Boston should have won or at least been much closer than they were, and that's how it turned out. They said that based on the shot quality of the two teams, they would have expected Boston to have scored like 10 more points while the Bucks basically shot like their normal selves overall. Obviously when you get into the playoffs, it's all small sample sizes and things don't always revert to the mean, but long story short, Boston fans probably shouldn't be losing their minds or anything after that game. They just have to make their shots and they'll have a pretty good chance.

Milwaukee when they watch the film should realize that they have to still make a few adjustments because relying on that type of cold shooting again is not a sound strategy of course.

Re: Eastern Conference 2nd Round - Discussion Thread

I think some of the success can be attributed to Jrue, Wes and even Carter. They were putting a lot of full court pressure on the Celtics.

It won't be like the Nets series with Curry covering Brown.

I feel it can be a combo of Celtics cold shooting and the Bucks D that affected

the outcome of this game.

I am sure the Celtics will come out aggressive on both ends Tuesday evening.

Way too many good looks for Miami, while Sixers can't figure anything out.

Re: Eastern Conference 2nd Round - Discussion Thread

Funny story...I'm from Oakland so I'm a A's and Warriors fan. Both teams began in Philly.

Raiders left Oakland when I was about 5 years old (I have no memory of them) and my first team sports jacket was random...a Philadelphia Eagles jacket and I been an Eagles fan since. Plus I was born in (you guessed it)...'76.

Go 76ers.
