Loading option file PC version

Hi,

I just downloaded PES 2008 from Trygames.com. It runs fine. But I have a problem. I can't seem to find how to put any of the option files in the game. I go to system settings and it just wants to load whatever file is in the "save" folder....the default file.

I tried putting an option file in that folder....but to no avail.

Also I don't see anyway to disable "autosave".

I'm using an Athlon 64 3700+ 2.1 Ghz machine with 1GB Ram and the GEForce 6800 vid card. I'm using my ps3 controller as a gamepad.

Thanx for your help.

Not sure what you are referring to here. If you've downloaded an edited OF you should just be able to replace the existing one in the Konami>Save folder in "My Documents".

Thanx. I've tried with several of the "edit" and "Option" files. But each time I try to load it a dialog box comes up saying "Save file is corrupted".

Where on "Trygames.com" did you d/l it? I went to gamestop.com to try to buy it and download, and it takes me to that site but I've looked literally EVERYWHERE on that site and could not find it.

Thanks

Re: Loading option file PC version

Hi,

I went to the trygames site and then went to "help/support" I believe. From there you select game you want support on and it gives you an FAQ. One of the questions is "How do I install my product on another computer?" Click on that....

From there it'll take you to a link where you can download it. Only problem I've had so far is that I can't get the patch from Konami to work to upgrade it to 1.2....nor have I gotten Option files to work.

The rest of the site is ridiculously hard to find products...I agree. I tried the search engine on the site....nope didn't work.

Hope this helps.

hmmm...just got lucky I guess.

Does anybody happen to know where I can find option files for the US PC version of PES 2008?
