Release Date Moved up?

My guess is that the commerical is about the European version of PES 2009 which came out weeks ago. As for the reason why Amazon and Gamestop have different prices is that Amazon's price is for the pre order and if you pre order it before the release date you'll pay $40 instead of the regular price which is $50.

well, they shouldnt be airing it in the US cuz they got my hopes up

Wow, I just saw $40 if pre-ordered on Amazon, plus free shipping. I'm pretty sure I'll be doing that. It's too good to pass up, and I'm actually enjoying playing the demo on 360. I still just like the solid gameplay, and Master League might not be deep, but at least the CPU will change their lineup.

I'm not sure if I'm going to buy this year's version. I'll probably give it a try but as a definate buy? I'm not sold (no pun intended). The game came out a couple of weeks after FIFA and still the teams are so out of date. Ughhhh!

To me, thats just something I've learned to live with when it comes to PES. It's easy to fix it, and I believe they're releasing an update very soon which includes tranfers, along with more boots.

My gamestop just told me its not gonna ship until Nov 28.

I should have bought it from overseas. I still might if I could get quick shipping. Took sendit.com 3 wks to send PES08

It still is listed as 11/11 as a ship date on Gamestop.com and on Amazone...Maybe your gamestop was reading the wrong game? Lets hope.

I wouldn't worry. All the stores still list Nov 11th as the shipping date. This is why I never preorder from Gamestop. Sometimes they seem to have no clue what is going on, especially for "under the radar" releases like this.

Best Buy showing in stores around the 12th.
