Re: Which version to buy: 360 or PS3?

I had 2009 for the 360 and it was a real pain to do option files. I hear it's much easier on the PS3. With everything else being equal -- I assume it is -- I'd get it for the PS3... if only I had one.

EDIT: You know what, if you have a top-notch gaming PC, that might actually be the way to go considering the wealth of PC-based mods available...

Re: Which version to buy: 360 or PS3?

yes doing the option files was a pain on 360 last year...but now that i know what i am doing, i was able to do it relatively easily this year.

if you have a transfer cable just hook your hard drive to your usb and open it in xport 360 and drag the files in. if you use a memory card and the datel transfer kit, open the memory card with a pes 2010 save on it in xport360, save the memory card image. then open the image in xplorer360, drag the files in, close xplorer360, then open the memory card again in xport360 and restore the memory card with the updated memory card image.

last year it took me hours to figure out how to do it, but this year it only took me about 10 min. granted it isnt as easy as ps3 where you just copy the files to a flash drive then copy to the ps3, but not too hard nonetheless.

and for ps3 if you want the good euro version option files you need the euro version of the game. with 360 the euro option files work fine with the us version. thats what makes me choose the 360. but i am kinda biased because i play everything on my 360, i really just use my ps3 as a blu ray player, and occasionally play the system exclusives. but again if you already have a transfer device for 360, transferring isnt too difficult.

I don't have a top-nothc rig, I should at least try the demo though.

Without a doubt, it's PS3. The option files are so much easier with the PS3. I'd even recommend getting the EU version of the game if an option file is important to you. The European version of the OF has been much better in years past.

Well, the PS3 version is sharper and easier to use when coming to option files. That's the version I'm getting.
