PES 2012 Wishlist

I wish somehow they found a way to let us mix-n-match Option Files! There are alot of great OF makers out there, unfortunately each one is based around a different league most of the time. I would love to be able to use connoll's MLS file, wemexico's OF, and some of the good European files on pesgaming.

Or even making an option file not be region specific or interchangeable between a PS3 and XBOX would be nice. Not entirely sure how possible that'd be but there are such quality PS3 OFs that I can't use cause, A: It's a PS3 and I have a 360, and B: The PS3 is region locked for OFs.

In BAL mode I'd like a name-indicator over my teammates head.

Ideas off the top of my head. Some of these are more important than others, obviously...

Gameplay
- tweak the current gameplay engine, but generally speaking the game is finally moving in the right direction (passing sensitivity could be improved, animations increased & improved, cleaned up foul & collision detection, some tweaked ball physics, etc.)
- better, more realistic GKs
- slightly more fouls (but not too many fouls)
- better, logical PK system
- ability to better aim/control goal kicks & goalie outlet throws
- improved set piece control - especially when you're not trying to get a shot on goal and instead providing service

Atmosphere
- add snow as weather condition
- better commentary (duh)
- more commentary names in database

Editing
- make sure number of blank teams & emblem slots correlate
- up-to-date kit templates & more editing templates
- accurate number/font styles for leagues in edit mode (done in past-gen versions; ie, Premiership)
- ability to more thoroughly edit shorts/socks - or add images (done in past-gen versions)
- ability to edit sides & backs of kits (done in past-gen versions)
- importing capability that allows for any editing on the previous version to be brought forward to the next game
- customizable structure for leagues & cups, across all game modes (ML, League, Cups) - allow for ability to turn on/off promotion, whether involved in continental tournaments, etc.
- unlock teams in Libertadores so they are playable outside that mode
- allow for ML to be non-Euro tracked, so that you can enter non-UEFA continental tournaments (ie, Libertadores or other confederation)
- ability to turn off fake/blank teams in ML (like done with Classic Players)
- ability to add NTs (ie, blank national teams)
- include 3rd kits or ability to add 3rd kit

Better sideline AI. Sometimes when the ball gets near the touch-line there is a series of kicking the ball out of bounds. Other times when your defenders should shield the defender and let the ball go out for a goal kick they clear it. This happens mainly in BAL.

More physical animations. Similar to the above comment, there needs to be more on the ball jostle animations, especially near the corner flag.

Also, too many times it appears as if the ball or pass is only intended for one person and another player in the vicinity who should act just stands there.

Less aggressive AI on defense.

I think like everybody I'd like to see the passing cleaned up and the team defending improved. I also love the player selection (ie selecting the player a cross is headed for) that FIFA has and wish PES had a similar feature.

I hate the crossing in FIFA. You see the X and just run to the spot. No skill in that IMO.
