Exciting news - how is the midfield pressure? STill able to sprint into open space at will - or easier closed down?

I play on Top Player. I've spent most of my time the last few years playing BAL so I'm not good enough to play on Superstar.

The game is still a little too wide-open but I've seen more effort by the CPU to close down. It's still 10x better than the other game where you can literally walk up to the box.

I'm copying my 1.02 patch impressions from a post I made in another forum (last night's games were on Top Player in Master League):

I absolutely LOVE 1.02. It seems to me that they fixed te through ball, and passing in general seems to work how it should. Now I feel like I can pass the ball to specific sides of the receiver. I just feel more in control of my game, and had several beautiful through balls from Cesc last night. I also did not see one instance of the magical over the top on-rails through ball from the CPU. Not once. Good stuff.

My forwards were also making more forward runs. One thing that bugged me pre-1.02 was that in order to play a decent through ball, my player had to be already moving in that direction. This meant that I had to use the right stick control to get him moving first. Very un-PES like. Now with 1.02, I can just point the LS in the direction of the player and fire off a through ball, and if I’m using Cesc or Xavi, sweetness awaits. It’s back to being PES again…
