PES 2015: Adam Bhatti (European Brand Manager) Gamerland Interview

Some new info...

http://www.pesfan.com/blog/2014/07/0...and-interview/

Quote:
Earlier today European Brand Manager Adam Bhatti gave an interview to Gamerland TV in which he revealed some rather juicy new information on what we can expect to see in PES2015. The interview was in Italian, but with some help from our friends at PESFan.it we’ve translated the highlights below:

- The idea of recreating the true feeling of PES acted fuelled the development of PES2015

- There’s a brand new menu system in place.

- Player statistics will be updated weekly, as will injuries, statuses and transfers.

- MyClub will replace MLO and micro-transactions will be available to help you create your team.

- Masterleague will be improved, with a specific focus on the transfer system.

- Some manager licenses will feature in the game, with managers introducing their own style into how a team plays.

- Some second tier leagues will feature in the game, mentioned specifically in the interview were those of England, Italy, Spain and France.

- New team and stadium announcements will be coming in the near future.

- Masterleague teams will now have managers.

- Stadium editor will be returning, and there’ll be new options within it.

- There was mention that if you start a match in the afternoon, the shadows on the pitch will move as you head into the evening. This suggests dynamic weather changes will feature in the game.

- 1080p and 60fps confirmed.

I am not used to Konami's marketing team actually gaining momentum

I don't think it was said in the article but from Only Pro Evolutions:

Quote:
As all four leagues are covered under FIFPro, every single player from all 88 second-tier clubs will be licensed.

So not necessarily the teams will be licensed but the players are, just like the EPL in PES 2014, perhaps three of those four leagues are licensed since their first divisions are.

I wonder how option files will work... I wish they would just allow for online sharing but I don't think Konami would ever host all that data on their servers.

Some good stuff there. Managers, that actually influence the way a team plays. Second tier leagues. Stadium creator. All good.

Re: PES 2015: Adam Bhatti (European Brand Manager) Gamerland Interview

Since EA has recently come out and marketed the Serie A as their big grab, they still have been pretty silent about their possible renewal of the EPL license. Rumor has it that PES is making a push for it, which would be huge for this franchise
