Where do you change your pass assistance settings? I couldnt find them.

User settings. You can adjust all sorts of things there. Easiest way is before you do exhibition match where you choose a side hit square button. There you adjust and it will save for you.

Thought this thread could use a bump...

Any veteran players able to give some advice on some more advanced skills and control methods?

Are there skill moves that are particularly effective?

I haven't really gotten into the more advanced controls where you can control a player off the ball and make them do runs in certain directions. Is this something that becomes very useful?

I haven't played PES in a very long time, so I'm a beginner all over again.

Check out a youtube channel called "maremas". It has a ton of tricks/skills/tips on it. The videos are pretty well done quality wise too.

For those of you still struggling with skill moves, try turning off auto feint in the game options, it's made a world of difference for me.
