Advanced Shooting Broken?

I am seeing some carry over from pes 14 when it comes to using advanced shooting. Every shot goes high and I had 5 hit crossbars in less than a full game. Also, there isn't any power on the shots taken and a lot of headers are flat out whiffed on even though ball comes right to your player. This looks broken to me.

Re: Advanced Shooting Broken?

I only play with manual shooting and it's not broken. Maybe advanced is I don't know.

Advanced shooting does feel weird, but I haven't messed with it too much. I would advise going into Free Training and practice with the setting.

The aiming is a bit tricky compared to fifa, if that's what you're coming from. Shot power doesn't determine height. If the stick is pointing towards the goal, your shot will go high. If the stick is pointing towards your goal, the shot will go low.

Check out the command list in the menu when playing and you can get a better explanation of how it works.

I´m trying to get my self the hang of manual on shooting, but keep wondering. Does the player individuality kicks in when you shoot on manual? Or it just depends on your hability?

Re: Advanced Shooting Broken?

It felt like there are more variations of ball trajectory animation in advanced shooting than manual shooting.

But I had to go back to manual shooting after about 10 games because I've been hitting crossbar at least 5 times per game also.

Konami should be able to address this soon I hope.

Don't worry, I had the same problem with advanced shooting as well.
I always hit the bar, no matter how much/long I pressed the shooting button.

I just switched to manual shooting(everyone should do so and use the lowest help possible on passing etc. as well) and even though I miss quite a few shots as well, it's still miles better and feels way better.
