It's all about positioning, runs, and how you cross the ball. For example, if you're taking a set piece and set your strategy to "Dash", then crossing the ball low and hard is ideal. It takes practice. I highly recommend doing the crossing skill game a few times until you get the hang of it.

Super cancel makes it easier to fight position against defender and there is better chance to win header. I am playing with manual passing and i am pretty good crosser, but its really hard to make that perfect cross on manual to get even chance to use super cancel, position yourself better and win a header against centre backs.

I think they need balancing or fine tuning the headers. I like how defenders play those cross situations, but its bit boring if they are almost perfect on those situations and forwards cant touch the ball.

I am afraid Konami makes headers too easy, just because people are complaining how hard headers are.

I'm glad they toned them down after last years cross fest. It was way too easy to score from a header off a cross in 2018.

It's broken. Last year it was very easy, almost auto guided to the player who headed it.

This year it's the exact opposite and guided more to the defender.

Just go into training and try corner kicks on either side against 3 defenders.
