Don't know how this would even be projected but this would have to be disappointing to the NFL if it came true:

Don't know how this would even be projected but this would have to be disappointing to the NFL if it came true:

It’s a different sport, but the Yankees sold the rights of a bunch of Friday night games to Amazon so you could probably do a prime game vs non prime Friday night Yankee game to get a general idea of what type of audience drop to expect

Bars with Direct TV will be okay. DTV struck a deal with Amazon and NFL to allow bars to still carry it.

Anyone in local markets will still get it.

But beyond those two exceptions, everyone else who doesn't have Prime or doesn't want to stream are out of luck.

I'm sitting here on NFL Network and suddenly the Broncos-Seahawks repeat game came on. So I have to stream this **** on my laptop or phone or something?

I have a Smart TV, but I've decided to watch it on Amazon Prime on my PS4. It's a glitchy mess.

This is terrible for the future of my sports watching. If Sunday Ticket is like this next year (and if I can't record/playback the content), you can absolutely count me out.

But you're right. Amazon and Apple have enough money to buy Disney dozens of times over. I shall never underestimate their financial prowess.
