Romo's ankle is fine and he's going to play.

Hopefully the videoboard is a non-factor in this one.

Seriously though, this game will be a good early metric for both teams; the winner will probably be the early NFC East favorite.

Alright cool.. Romo is my fantasy Q. I rather have the Cowboys win than the Giants. just for the Redskins sake.

Eagles are the NFC East favorite by far. If Jacobs stays healthy I think the Giants sneak into the wild card.

Giants will be able to run.
Cowboys should be able to score given their weaponry.

I think the rub will be the Giants passing game. Dallas's secondary is weak, if not awful; but the Cowboys' pass rush can be a huge factor. Whatever comes of Eli and his inexperienced corp of receivers may tell the tale. Though I suppose it is very possible that the Giants rush for 250+ and throw less than 20 times.

I think Dallas's season is going to come down to whether Garret will unleash Barber, Jones, and Choice AND (more important) on their pash rush...the secondary needs an effective pass rush just to be half-decent. Leftwich tore them up last week, until he had been beaten up by the (late, but effective) pass rush.
The Giants shouldwin, but the Cowboys only need a few things to go right to get a W. Turnovers, Penalties, A Big Play, and Special Teams...Dallas will need a little of each. They will get the ST, but Penalties are a weakness.
                Australian Rules Football...just sayin'

No, watching actual football, seeing their strengths/weaknesses, who they returned from a team that went to the NFC Title game, who they added in FA/Draft amongst other things.

Not to mention the odds in Vegas which I value higher than any so called fball expert including you.

                    Watching actual football?

                    Ok...

                    So Shawn Andrews is gone.

                    Winston Justice is coming in.

They Lost their best linebacker for the year.

They lost their legendary defensive cordinator

They lost their defensive leader in Dawkins

If you are going to predict a win for the eagles for the division based on what Vegas tells you then you know nothing.

I am not saying the Eagles are not capable of winning the division.

But to say by far is delusional and comical at the same time.

You have not watched much football if you actually think that

I think it will be a much closer race than that, between them and the Giants.

We will see what the Boys have to say about it Sunday night.

They lost Jim Johnson but the new DC is not trying to re-invent the wheel. They didn't even play that well offensively and still went into Carolina (who won their division last yr) and smoked Carolina, mostly due to their defense.

If you watched them the last couple years you would have known that Dawkins has lost a step which is why they let him walk. You don't let the face of your defense for 10yrs just go w/o having a reason or a good plan B.

They added more speed at the WR and a better backup HB for when Westbrook gets hurt.

My Skins, the Giants, and the Cowboys all have more flaws than the Eagles but you're right about the injuries. It seems like the bug is hitting them early.

Good thing it's an ankle and not a pinky.

This is scary given what Osi did to him a few years ago. We'll have to see what he's got. They haven't cut him so I'm guessing Andy still sees potential.

We've got serviceable depth their, and our front-4 is very strong.

McDermott had the blitzkrieg JJ defense working wk1. Can't replace JJ though...

Quinton Demps has always been there waiting for his turn. He's no Brian Dawkins, but he's a ball hawk. Sean Jones was signed and he's a playmaker (health the only concern), and SS Quinton Mikell is an up and comer.

I like the Giants for the division until injuries prove otherwise, but we'll be right there wk in wk out.

Once again you do not have info correct

The GIANTS won the division last year. They faltered down the stretch when Plax went down. He ruined the year and the Giants could not overcome it.

The Eagles came in and beat us in the playoffs and deserved it.

But they are not a better team the the Giants. I do not even think they are better then the Cowboys.

All 3 teams can win the division. But to say BY FAR is just delusional talk.

It matters plenty losing JJ...The new coach is not going to re-invent the wheel but there are things he does not know or at least proven to know that JJ does know and knew well.

Counting on a rookie receiver to say they improved their receivers is ho hum...Rookie receivers are not known to make big impacts.

They beat the Panthers because Dehlhome is terrible and threw picks left and right just like he did the last time he played a real game in the playoff lose

The Eagles have a solid team and can win the division but you are selling the Giants wayyyyyyyyyyy short if you think they are not equal or better then the Eagles.

But talk is cheap I guess...We will just wait and see how (By Far) better the eagles are then the Giants....
