Re: Dez Bryant is Fed Up!!!
Poor Dez, people are so concerned about his "dialect". "Proper" grammar isn't a sign of intelligence or educational attainment.
I was watching espn and they went all into his family history but that whay happen when you run a 4.5, 40.Comment

Re: Dez Bryant is Fed Up!!!
I see this thread has had a few subtexts:
1) What does his attitude say about how hard he'll work on the field? How do we interpret his comments/attitude from what we see about them?
2) Boy does our education system suck, IN GENERAL...the "grammar" etc. problems are not unique to Dez Bryant. I hope nobody would think that they are.
3) The against TOS insinuations
If we focus, on #1 I think it hurts his draft stock. I ALSO think this works out great for him, and whatever team gets him. Instead of getting JaMarcus money/results, he'll get Moss money/results, and because the team around him will be more talented it will work out for him.
If he goes anything after 12 or so, I think he'll be a solid contributor. If he goes before then, I think he'll crack under the pressure and be an overpaid bust.
Numbers 2 and 3 don't really apply to this thread.Comment

Re: Dez Bryant is Fed Up!!!
The question is do you think Bryant can fix it? I, myself, do not. He's gotten by on superior talent his entire career in HS and College. What is he going to do when he has to actually work for it?
I can say one thing, I have no confidence in seeing Bryant changing his attitude.
And we should get off the grammar thing. I think everyone in this thread would admit it has nothing to do with his talent or anything else. I majorly regret even bringing it up.Too Old To Game Club

Re: Dez Bryant is Fed Up!!!
I don't think his grammar says anything about his character or how well he'll perform in the NFL. It's just something to poke fun at for now. Guys are bored and it's the offseason. There will be threads like this...Comment

I think one thing that factors, possibly, in draft position is that worst picks tend to mean better teams. So better teams tend to have better talent - he probably will perform better with better skills around him (as do many players).
Meanwhile, going to a top draft pick team probably means he's going to a team with a lot of weaknesses. He might be looked at as a bust to those fans if they weaknesses of the team hold him down, but I don't think it would be so much pressure but the team he's on talent-wise."Some people call it butterflies, but to him, it probably feels like pterodactyls in his stomach." --Plesac in MLB18Comment

And I can give you a list of lazy players that are still lazy.
The question is do you think Bryant can fix it? I, myself, do not. He's gotten by on superior talent his entire ****** in HS and College. What is he going to do when he has to actually work for it?
