I look at the 1989 NFL Draft and 4 of the top 5 picks are now Hall of Famers

Congrats to those that made it.

I find it hilarious that Cris Carter hasn't been voted in.

Lynn Swann + John Stallworth = 873 Receptions, 14,185 receiving yards, 114 touchdowns

Cris Carter = 1,101 receptions, 13,899 receiving yards, 130 touchdowns.

I know post-season is factored in but damn. This is just wrong.

Ya - but the thing to remember about Swann and Stallworth is that it took years for them to get in. Carter will get in eventually, but the finalists are really good right now.

Roaf basically lost out to Ed Sabol. Sabol is 94 years old. Willie can wait a year.

I have a major problem on how "skill players" getting get in and some of the best players that play LOS didn't get in the Hall. Dawson, Roaf, and Kennedy didn't get in this year and I find that very, very problematic.

Dawson was one of the best football players that I ever watched. His size/speed/strength was a level above anyone I seen that play the position. I guess you have to touch the ball to get some serious love. I can't even find a youtube vid on Dawson.

I don't mind these selections.

The only one that didn't get in that annoys me is Cris Carter. Hopefully he gets in eventually.

I guess there's a big difference between playing on a legendary team in Chicago, and being stuck on a perpetual 8-8 team in the Pacific NW.
