    Week 11 Discussion Thread

Solid opener to the week. We’ve all re-anointed the Pats, and the Falcons are probably a middle of the pack team, so wanna see how this one plays. I’ll obviously be rooting hard for the Falcons because if the Pats win they’ve leapfrogged Buffalo (in total wins at least). I don’t think they’re ready to go on another 20 year run, but I do think they’re dangerous enough to make the playoffs. I pegged them as a WC coming in to the season and after some early struggles their offense is coming together while Belichick’s defense is it’s usual self now that guys have come back after opt outs or injury from last year.

I was shocked to see Rodgers is only 7-7-1 against “Zimmer coached defenses”, so I assume that means his time as a DC too. Thought Rodgers had dominated MIN like he has CHI, but not quite. I’ve heard the Vikings referred to as “fake bad” due to so many one score losses or bad luck so that’s a team and a game to keep an eye on.

Bills/Colts could be a sneaky good game. Colts seem to hanging around, not quite sure if they want to step up in an open AFC or not. Would be nice to throttle them or, ya know, just win. Bills developing a reputation as a dominator of scrubs and folding up against decent competition. Well here come the Colts, Saints, Pats, Bucs, Panthers and Pats again so hopefully we got our mojo back. No letting up.

Only marquee game I see this week is KC/DAL. How that one goes is anyone’s best guess. They’ve both seen super highs and lows. I gotta go with Dallas as the more consistent group though. Cowboys have a good shot of coming outta the NFC. I can’t deny their legitimacy any longer. Lol

With no Gregory and no Lawrence, I’m not sure we will do enough consistently to get to Mahomes. It may very well be a game in the 40s for both teams unless Zeke/Pollard can run consistently and we control clock.

I mentioned it in the other thread, but Spencer Brown went to the COVID list is almost certainly gone for two games. If Daboll runs Cody Ford back out there, I don't even know if I can bear to watch. Our worst offensive performances all came with the Ford-Williams right side, and Buckner will eat Ford alive.
Bills, Sabres, Illini, Cubs, basically any team that abuses its fanbase and I'm there.

It's definitely going to be some kind of shootout.

Vegas has a pretty nice O/U for KC vs DAL at 55.5, and looks like Dallas will have some catching up to do.

But considering I'm facing Zeke in FF this week, he's gonna pop off just to smite me. I got my money on Dallas this time.

Cam's return to Charlotte as (likely) the starter. Rivera is also returning for the first time since he was fired.

It's going to be the best atmosphere at BOA since the 2015 NFC CG

Falcons are 4-5 (not horrible), why so many seats empty?

The Patriots stupidity ray is active again. 3rd and inches in the red zone -> 14 yard sack -> formation penalty -> Missed field goal.

Not to get stupid and declare this a fact. But it's possible out of all the really good QB's in this draft. Mac was the best.

He could very well be. But Fox was pushing that stat hard.

And it’s a bit of a misnomer. Jones has been good. He’s also started every game for a decent team. Lawrence and Wilson play for terrible teams, and Wilson has been hurt. Fields only recently became the starter. And Lance has one start in place of an injured Garoppolo.

Yeah Patriots going to run the table again and prove Brady is 'just a guy' finally. Once they got Mac Jones their clone of Brady they are fine for 20 more years.

mac looks good right now because of Bill Belicheck.. AKA Brady if 49ers signed Mac he wouldn't be that great... Bill Belicheck doesn't find stars even though this so called GOAT was suppose to be one. he finds guys that work for the right job in his system.

I Mean Brown Welker Brown Branch Eldenman were all the same guy just like kevin faulk -White etc etc etc

this is the Pats D of 03 04 era, (but as usual all attention is on Brady)

Pats are going 12-4 and getting the number 1 seed because the AFC is a complete utter joke

Belicheck is the true GOAT here and in the end will win more super bowls then Brady I don't care what anyone else says.
