We're at the point with normalizing sports betting that I'm willing to bet that there are people who only think this matters if he bet against his team smh. NFL is going to have to really punish someone severely otherwise it seems like they don't care.

The part that gives me pause is how we really, really freaking need either Epenesa or Basham to hit. 4 straight pro bowler. That's the life of a RB once you get close to 28 and making over $10M. Unless you add to the passing game like McCaffrey, teams would rather draft a replacement or go by committee.

I think they realize he’s not in their future plans so might as well take the cap hit for cutting him now

And as usual, the backup has been producing enough to basically make him expendable, especially when you consider what Cook was paid and the production they were getting recently.
