Whooosssssshhhh...right over your head.
In that case, I'll ask again-why did the league come up with a rule that would not have applied to either 2 or 3 of the RW plays that you think are "heinous"? After all if it's so awful, surely it should be banned outright, correct?

Your turn.

LMFAO...

Anyways, like I said, I'm cool with the rule. If it'll help decrease the amount of injuries, I guess it's OK. I just hate that Roy is bein made to look like some devil when all he is tryin to do is make the play in these situations. It wasn't illegal at the time so I saw no problem with it.

No fanclub, it's just frustrating having to sift through anti-p2k nonsense when people are trying to have an actual discussion. Although, I am now contributing to the nonsense so I guess I'm no better.

Back on topic, interesting point on the lack of a fine included. The only difference I see is that facemask and spearing have to do with a players head/neck rather than legs.

So because of some Dallas radio station's interpretation (go fig), some of the tackles Dilemma did would not have applied. Didn't see that coming

Of course, rules are to be interpreted on the field as well. And I think we all know if The Man Not In Ed Reed's League tries tackling anybody in that region, collar or shoulder pads, there will be a penalty.

My bad for the fanclub comment; I would have loved to see the footage and hear the discussion about from the owners, trainers, league officials, etc. But that is a very valid point about the head and neck vs the legs.

Again, what does Brian Dawkins have to do with this?

I would also be very interested to see the footage shown during the debate. I'm guessing there was a lot of players limping off the field after the plays. It might not always result in serious injury but there is a fine line between limping off and being carted off.
